Starting out as Virtual Assistant (VA) can be a very daunting prospect but don’t worry many have gone before you and can guide you!
Here are my top resources
-
VA Training Academy
I met Amanda Johnson at a Virtual Assistant Northern Collaboration event in Newcastle Upon Tyne and knew she was the real deal. Check out all her VACT training academy resources here!
-
Collaborate!
Don’t think of every Virtual Assistant as a competitor think of them instead as potential collaborators! I’ve made some fabulous connections with other VAS resulting for example in this e-book ‘The Virtual Assistant E-Starter Guide’ which we published on Amazon
-
Don't be afraid to go for Awards!
Shouting about your brilliance may be totally out of character for you but there are now a lot of new VAs out there so you have to distinguish yourself from the crowd! I went for and won for example the VA of the Year Award In Northern Ireland in 2020.
